Division One
Harvey wins impressive treble
Junior Michael Harvey was on top form for Saracens B in taking a maximum from Chelsea B.S., including wins in five against Guy Greening and Dave Metcalfe. Tony Stead contributed two more sets for Sara's as they eased home 6-4 on the doubles.

Three wins apiece for Roy Fowler and Pete Wood plus two from Suzy Robinson set up Saracens A for a good 8-2 win over Cheltenham A. It was however a lot closer match than the score suggests, with Saracens just winning most of the tight games.

Champions Smiths A were far too strong for bottom club Winchcombe Wizards by winning 9-1. Nick Mytton and Doug Payne both had maximums and were ably assisted by Andy East, playing up from Division 2, who did well to beat Chris Lane and Keith Ferguson, but just lost out to Nick Davidson.

Winchcombe Cavaliers fared no better when they also lost 9-1 to Cirencester. Darrel Wiltshire saved the whitewash for them with a win over Tony Clarkson. Dave Adamson and Rob Willsher were unbeaten for Cirencester.

Division Two
Cheltenham B edge out Sara's
In what should have been a comfortable fixture for Cheltenham B against struggling Smiths D, the encounter turned out to be a closely contested match with Cheltenham  just winning by 6-4.  Mike Gleeson had 2 good wins for Smiths and was assisted by Christine Williams and Julie Taylor who both won 1 set each.  For Cheltenham Mike Fry claimed 2 wins as did new team member Anand Keshav, and Dave Green chipped in with a 1 set win.   At this stage things were not very comfortable for favourites Cheltenham B, but the experienced doubles pairing of Fry and Green triumphed over the Gleeson and Taylor combination to secure the 6 sets to 4 victory.

Cheltenham C edged to a 6-4 win over Saracens D.  The foundation for the Cheltenham C victory was laid by Milan Dragojlovic who won a maximum and was helped by Grant and Niall Pawsey who both won 1 set each.  Mike Dodwell and Terry Sims both won 2 sets apiece for Saracens D but the combination of Grant and Niall versus the Terry Sims and Ross Greening pairing prevented Saracens drawing the match as they lost the doubles in the final game to present Cheltenham C with a  6-4 win.

Saracens C performed well but were out of luck when they were beaten 9 sets to 1 by high flying Smiths C. The result does not help Saracens position at the foot of the table, but it certainly helps Smiths chances of promotion, which seems a little unjust considering how closely contested the match was.  Dave Foulser scored the solitary win for Saracens, whilst Chris White and Paul Singh both recorded maximums for Smiths C and then combined to take the doubles and ensure the victory.

Division Three
Saracens E close in on runners-up spot
CCS A claimed a good 8-2 victory over Saracens F thanks to maximums from Steve Murton and the in-form Doug Blades. Jeremy Turberville chipped in with a brace. In a surprising twist, Pete McGeough and John Adcock combined for Saracens to win the doubles comfortably over Blades and Murton.

Tewkesbury A claimed the 7 points they needed to claim the Division Three title with a 7-3 win over an understrength CCS A side. Rob Amphlett was again in imperious form, winning all of his singles in straight sets. Simon Lockley picked up an important point with a good five-set win over Doug Blades. Amphlett and Mike Tyrrell combined to take the doubles in the fifth set of a tight contest against Blades and Steve Murton.

Tirley Tigers maintained their charge for a promotion place thanks to an 8-2 win against CCS B. Pete Humble picked up yet another maximum and he was well supported by Janie Kirby and Elaine Evans, who both claimed braces. Geoff Wilson picked up an excellent win for CCS B over Kirby, whilst Geoff Foster did likewise against Evans.

Saracens F claimed a 6-4 win over Cheltenham D thanks to every team member making an excellent contribution. However, it was Cheltenham D's Andy Dyke who was the star of the show, claiming an excellent treble in which he was rarely troubled. Both John Adcock and Sheila Matthews picked up braces, including excellent wins over Matt Mulcahy. They then combined to defeat the Cheltenham combination of Dyke and Richard Gummow in a tight five-set doubles.

Saracens E are drawing closer to the second promotion place thanks to a 7-3 win over Winchcombe CCC. Tony Iles claimed a maximum for Saracens, Neil Penny picked up a brace and Mike Barwick chipped in with a hard-earned five-set win over Roly Holder. John Teare was the pick of the Winchcombe players, winning two and losing to Iles 13-11 in the fifth having been two sets up. Dick Prior also picked up a win for Winchcombe. Iles and Penny were too strong for Prior and Teare in the doubles.

Division Four
Eagles fly away with title
Three wins for Tom Urbanski for Tewkesbury B was not enough to save their unbeaten record as they tumbled to leaders Winchcombe Eagles 7-3, and Tewkesbury also lost their unbeaten doubles record in the process. For Eagles, it was two wins each for Tiffany Hopton, Mick Holder and Adam Andrews, who now have the title virtually in the bag.

Cheltenham G have been showing good form of late, and this continued with a 6-4 win over Tewkesbury C. Best win of the evening went to Jamie Makepiece who beat John Brayne in three games, and went on to win his other two sets to complete a maximum. Good support came from George Deacon who got the better of Neil Cameron and Roger Powell.

Cheltenham E fought out a 5-5 draw with Tewkesbury C. Richard Maint held the Cheltenham side together winning all of his sets, although it took him five games to overcome Neil Cameron.

Tewkesbury B were too strong for Cheltenham H and cantered to a 10-0 win.
