Division One
Title Remains Undecided
Cheltenham B have completed their season and now have to wait and see if they have done enough to win the league, the outcome of which will be delayed because of a cancelled match between two of the contenders Smiths A and Cheltenham A. Each of these teams trail Cheltenham B but both teams have enough points available to snatch the title.

The match between Winchcombe Wizards and Saracens B was conceded 10-0 by Saracens as they were unable to raise a team.

The match between Smiths A and Saracens A was postponed.

Cheltenham B played their neighbours Cheltenham C this week that resulted in a resounding but perhaps predictable 10-0 victory for Cheltenham B. The B side, represented by Dave Harvey, Robert Harvey and Paul Perks look to have been untroubled in any of their games over Jon Gaskell, Anand Kershaw and Christine Williams.

The Winchcombe Cavaliers played the Chelsea A this week and came away with a respectable draw. Darrell Wiltshire of the Cavaliers was the star of the evening being the only player to win a maximum. Darrell was supported by Stuart Greene who beat Simon Moysey in a close five games and then combined with Darrell to win the doubles and draw the match. Dave Metcalfe and Dominic Wynn-Sands of Chelsea took two wins each against Stuart Green and Guy Bridgewater, supported by Simon Moysey who earnt Chelsea's other point by beating Guy Bridgewater.

Saracens Almost Certain Winners
Champions elect Saracens F emphasised their class with two straightforward wins, a 10-0 victory over Cheltenham H, and an 8-2 success against Tewkesbury C. For Tewkesbury, Mike Maxwell fought off Dave Cosnette and Tony Walsh to gain narrow wins, but lost out to Dave Foulser in three straight games. Dave showed some of his best form of the season to win 11-9, 11-6, 12-10.

Youth overcame experience as Cheltenham F showed their continued improvement with a 10-0 demolition of Civil Service B. For Civil Service, Geoff Wilson went closest, losing out 5-11 in the fifth game to Karl Foster.

Cheltenham G were a player short against Cheltenham H, who were comfortable 8-2 winners. For the H side, Mike Brook and Carey Maisey were successful against both Zac France and James Bird.

It appears that Saracens have now secured the title, unless Tirley can win 10-0 in their 2 remaining games and Saracens lose 10-0 against Chelsea.
